10:58 A.M.
From Saturday morning through Sunday afternoon, Greene and Hale counties are under a flood warning.
9:55 a.m.
The NWS has reduced central Alabama’s risk for any additional storms that form this afternoon from a slight risk to a marginal risk due to the decreased chance of severe weather later today.
8:28 a.m.
For Clay and Talladega counties, a severe thunderstorm warning is in effect until 8:45 a.m. Severe thunderstorms were heading east at 40 mph at 8:28 a.m. along a line from close to Waldo to Goodwater.

For Clay and Talladega counties, a severe thunderstorm warning is in effect until 8:45 a.m. Severe thunderstorms were traveling 45 mph northeast at the time, following a line from Coosa Island to Fayetteville.
7:53 a.m.
For the counties of Autauga, Chilton, Coosa, Elmore, and Tallapoosa, a severe thunderstorm warning is in effect until 8:45 a.m. Severe thunderstorms were heading east at 60 mph at 7:52 a.m. along a line from close to Lay Lake Dam to close to White Hall.

Up to 9:30 a.m., Chilton, Coosa, and Shelby counties are under a flash flood warning. Doppler radar and automatic rain gauges showed thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the advised area at 7:38 in the morning. Flash flooding is happening now or is predicted to start soon.
